Tags not working with ACDSee photo studio 7 mac

I use ACDSee photo studio 7 mac to manage my images. Very robust program, however their metatagging sucks. So happy I found Metaimage. But lately when I look at the updated images in ACDSee photo studio 7 mac after using MetaImage, only one or two tags come across.

I examined the file in graphicconverter as well and they don’t show up.

ACDSee photo studio 7 mac uses IPTC Core… is that an issue?

Hi there,

I do not use ACDSee, so I do not precisely know how this program works. However, MetaImage supports almost all EXIF, IPTC and XMP. So the two apps expect to use the same metadata.

What are the tags you would like to edit? Did you try to edit IPTC and XMP tags with MetaImage? I encourage you to use ExifTool to examine your files.
