Hello,
I am attemping to put in the following Lat/Long in MetaImage: 29.585326, -95.155646. However, the tool will not allow me to apply the negative value in the EXIF GPS Longitude field. Am I missing something?

Hello,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. It appears that I inadvertently introduced a bug. I’m working on a fix as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can temporarily bypass the issue by using the GPS panel.
Best regards
No worries! Thanks for the update and the awesome software.
I was searching for the bug and just realized that we can’t enter negative values because the EXIF standards don’t allow it. There’s a field for the value and another for the reference (plus or minus). So, if you want to change the value manually without using the dedicated GPS panel, you should enter the value in the longitude field and the sens in the longitude ref field. I know it’s not practical, but MetaImage is trying to mimic the EXIF standard.
Hi,
If you have a negative longitude, it means you are West of the Greenwich meridian, where Texas used to be.
So just enter the value in Longitude without the minus sign : 95.155646
and set the Longitude Reference to West.
EXIF:GPSLongitude: “95.15564600”
EXIF:GPSLongitudeRef: “W”
Best regards,
Xavier
