I’m curious if there’s a way to automate a metaimage shortcut, ideally on a watched folder. So every time a file is added to a folder, meta image automatically alters its EXIF if based on a saved short cut.
Likely not possible, so if anyone has any leads on how I can achieve this please? I’ve tried using Exiftool via macOS Automator but I’m not having much luck.

Thank you for your interest in MetaImage.
MetaImage does not support scripting at the moment. The only solution is to use ExifTool via Automator as you mentioned.
I never tried but it seems to be possible using command line calls.

It would be immensely helpful if MetaImage was scriptable. UI is nice but slow, and if I could invoke MetaImage programmatically a lot of the clicking could be automated.
Totally agree, scripting would be super useful. It’s not in the short-term roadmap, but it’s something I’d love to add later.
