It would seem presets. But there is no indication on how to use them. I can open in image file and make changes to the metadata on the right window pane. But I have to do it for each image. Once I have made changes to all the metadata i want, I save as a preset, but I can’t figure out how to then open another file and apply that preset.
My process:
Open an image
Edit all the tags I want to edit.
Apply those tags to the image
presets → Save tags as preset
(The preset is then added to my list)
But from there, how do I open an image and then apply all the tags from a preset to that image??
Really, I can’t get the presets to do anything. For example, I make a bunch of changes to metadata, save tags as a preset, then open a new image, and select that preset, and nothing changes. I cannot figure out how a preset is applied to a new image. What am I missing?
I’m assuming at this point that this app is dead, although money is still being charged for it on the Apple store.
If, like me, you’re having a hard time getting the presets to actually work on this app, you might want to check out the free app jExitToolGUI, which is a free GUI interface for the Exiftool library.
Hello,
Apologies for the delayed response. For some reason, the forum flagged this thread as spam.
Once you’ve created your preset, you can use it by simply selecting one or more files (hold the Command key to select multiple files), then go to the main menu bar and navigate to Presets > [Untitled] > [Your Preset Name]. You can also rename the folder “Untitled” to a name of your choice in the manager.
I attached a video.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks for the reply. This is exactly what I’m doing and it does not work. 100% does not work. I create the preset, open a new file, make sure it’s selected on the left, go to the preset menu at the top, select that preset, and nothing happens. The preset is not applied.
Could you share a video of your screen? It might help me spot the issue or a bug.
