Exporting Transparent images to video

Hi,

I am having trouble with an export to transparent video. I have a transparent PNG set going in, see sample. I have the settings on Export to Transparent Background and yet on export, there is a black background on the video file. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

To export the video with a transparent background, you need to select HEVC Alpha as the codec. A standard video codec will not preserve the alpha channel and can result in the transparent areas appearing black.

Please try exporting again with HEVC Alpha selected, along with the Transparent Background option.
